Nalout visit

We thank God for the safe return of the team of volunteers, consisting of Libyan Youth Ophthalmologists Union members and ophthalmologists from Tripoli Eye Hospital, from their visit to the city of Nalout. During the visit, which lasted 4 days, the team opened the ophthalmology surgery department in Nalout Hospital, where they performed ophthalmological surgeries done for the first time in this city. They examined and treated numerous varieties of cases and performed cataract surgeries.

The team members who participated were:

- Dr. Rima gashout

- Dr. Howida buker

The visiting team was received by Dr. Fadia gergab who also prepared the cases.

We hope, god willing, to return to the city  in periodical  visits in the future. 

One of the greatest gains from the trip, in addition to the services offered to needy patients, was getting to know our beautiful cities and their wonderful gracious people.
